Part 8 of our Ridgeway charity walk completed today, a 12.4 mile walk from Princes Risborough to Wigginton. Although longer and 2 steeper hills than yesterday, for some unknown reason I don't feel as tired. I actually feel really good and can't wait for tomorrow.. Unfortunately my friend  Harry Johnson  couldn't make it today but I was joined by another friend,  Duncan Oldreive , who lives in that area, Very much enjoyed your company, thank you so much Duncan. The day not started so well, as what was meant to be a 50 minute drive was 2 hours and 27 minutes long, traffic everywhere. The important thing is that we had an excellent day and once again beautiful landscapes and although not as much wildlife, I think you'll agree the Kestrel has made up for it. Part 7 of our walk - Monday 14th May An extremely tough walk today for the Lone Ranger. Unfortunately my friend  Harry Johnson  wasn't feeling well and cancelling the walk wasn't an option as its imperative that we finish on Wednesday. My wife therefore helped me with transport which was about 1.5 hours drive, What I didn't need after 10 miles walk was 1/2 mile of very steep hill but what I want and what i get are 2 different things. I really feel my age now and tomorrow's walk is even tougher, longer and two very steep hills but no pain no gain. Bring it on as they say. Unfortunately I am still £375 behind my target (£3,000) so if anyone feels generous and wants to help people with disabilities then use this link please https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/nikos-polydorou
