A big Thank you to everyone who has donated so far You'll be pleased to hear that you have helped to raise £1,865.00 which is 62% of the total I have been preparing really hard and really looking forward to Monday when Harry and I will start our walk. My only concern is the amount of rain we had and more rain and even snow to come so keep your fingers crossed for us. No walk today as I have decided a rest was needed after 65 miles in 7 days Hard training starting again tomorrow and just 7 days before we start our challenge and hopefully reach our target of £3,000 for such a fantastic cause, to ensure that Yateley Industries survive and consequently help people with Disabilities Yesterday's walk was pretty tough, 15.3 miles in a very misty weather but as we have said before, no pain no gain. Even the Copper Horse was hiding behind the trees
Please help us help people who cannot help themselves Yateley Industries has been supporting people with disabilities for the last 80 years but are now having major financial difficulties and need our help - Please see below for a more detailed summary of who Yateley Industries are and their current financial difficulties Yateley  Industries has been a fantastic employer for people with disabilities also  providing accommodation for many. They will be heartbroken if they were forced  to close down. Please help us raise money to ensure they stay in their jobs which gives them dignity and make them feel part of the society I have decided to try and help raise some money for this fantastic cause by walking the famous Ridgeway; its approximately 87 miles long that starts at Overton Hill (near Marlborough) and finishes at Ivingoe Beacon (North of Aylesbury). My friend Harry Johnson has volunteered to join me on this adventure ...
